Maybe you guys should watch another episode or two before writing it off? Even I'll admit the pilot wasn't that great. But tonight's episode was pretty funny and I can't see how someone who likes Family Guy could hate it since it's the exact same formula but at least with some semi-fresh writing put into it.
Unless you just hate Cleveland.
I'm looking forward to watching it. Just need to get my internet fixed, and buy a new laptop first.

its got its moments.. its basically just a super-black family guy that obviously doesn't share the same hilarious writing staff. i wouldn't consider watching it a wasted 30 minutes of my life though - when you compare it to most of the stuff that network tv churns out, id say my laugh-to-grimace ratio is pretty high.

I watch it because I like the intro

Speaking of horrible television...
I watched Secret Girlfriend last night and the whole thing was like a 22 minute beer commercial. The show was poorly written, acted and shot. Basically it was a flimsy excuse to put smoking hot girls in their underwear on TV.
I'll probably watch the whole series.

you couldn't deduce this from the pre-pilot advertising? i saw one commercial for that show and basically it was just a thinly veiled double-penetration joke. not really one that screams emmy winner.

I'm liking it.
Also I liked the reference in this week's Family Guy with Quagmire getting his own spinoff.
