Just noticed I got past the 10,000 email mark in my Gmail inbox. I've probably gotten more considering I empty out the facebook emails every now and then.

I archive everything that isn't junk and I like to keep my inbox clean. Always floating around 29-33% of used space/

im pretty much the same as aircooled. clean inbox all the way.

4350. i think i got a gmail invite within a month or two of it coming out. i think my invite may have actually come from diesel oh, and another 1000 in my spam folder...i should really empty that...

4393, I've had my account since the fall of 2004...so that's kinda pathetic.

I also had to beg for an invite from a coworker, since at the time hotmail had been stupidly unstable for a long time...and I was doing mu undergrad thesis at the time, and really needed email.

Never looked back...gmail rules.

I can't remember the last time I logged into a web interface for mail other than my school one from my phone.

In Mail I have 4624 messages since August 15th, 2005 in my active mailboxes. I have an additional 3000+ from my old school's mail in an archive, and an additional 500+ from old IMAP accounts hosted on my domain name that are also archived.

My spam folder hovers around 300. I never delete that, it purges old spam after 30 days. It's not worth the time to bother maintaining it.

I'm nearly at that 10k mark. I've also had my gmail account since it launched. Back in the day when you had 3 invites & having a gmail was exclusive.

^yup...I had to beg a coworker...and I didn't get any invites of my own either, not for a few months anyway.
