Im assuming he is on air. So at any speed above prolly 5mph, he has to raise it up to avoid burning the rubber or his fenders off.

I'm seeing lots of what appear to be broken suspensions.

I have never gotten the point of these ridiculous tuck your wheels into the wheel well obsession. Lowering a car to have equal wheel gap within the limits of what the suspension geometry will allow is one thing but the herra flush crap needs to burn in hell.

I'm all for polished RSs, super slammed vws, but... I find jettas to be.... dumb.
whether GLI or not, jettas have always been odd golfs with back packs that dont look right. The coupe forms are the only ones I could actually like- which were only mk1/2 iterations anyway.

Word. Why you'd lower a car beyond the point of usefulness is so beyond me and just so idiotic that the people who do it are the ones who actually need to burn.

So bad its euro-rice...
If it made the car go faster then maybe I could live with it, but else than that it looks like shit, probably drives like shit, and makes you look even more like a nerd.
Hope it doesn't catch on...

Well then im sorry i posted this. I personally like the look. I agree it has no usefulness, but its still cool.
I guess you can compare it to fashion. Whats the point of ripped/distressed jeans? there isn't besides a new look.
Its obviously one of the those love it or hate it things i guess.

Im with diplo on this, I love the dropped on the ground look, it really does it for me. It's not about practicality; to expand on diplo's fashion analogy; why the eff would you buy a $500 pair of jeans that are ripped and faded, over a $400 pair of jeans that look new? Cause apparently it's fashionable...me, I can't see the sense in that, but hey, each to their own.

Why the eff would pay more than $100 for a pair of jeans in the first place?

I personally find the MKIV Jetta to be the pinnacle of watercooled VW exterior styling.

Anything more than $40 for a pair of jeans is waste of money.

meh, they was just numbers to prove a point. Personally I don't buy jeans unless they are <$100, anythign more than that is just too much
