I found this one today, and have no idea how people can still run a business with an animated .GIF on it.

No points will be awarded to anyone who posts a link to another site that rates bad sites. Post actual pages, fool!

Another reason why I'm afraid Bristol fails.

Agreed. I was on the fence about the Blenheim in the Cool Wall between neutral and uncool, but after seeing that, it swayed my vote to uncool.

You'd think a company that charges that much for their cars could come up with a better website (and one that better illustrates the company's desired brand image).
dukenukem
Why to miss the target guys!!! Bristol doesnt give a rats ass if they are perceived as cool or not ... their job is to keep their 150 niche clients entirely happy and they are doing it just fine. And frankly i like quick loading websites over the current flash laden nonsense where anytime you click on a button the fucker has to buffer for 30 mins before the next page opens up.

If you actually check the website out they offer some really cool things.

Point is it's a horrid website.
dukenukem
No its not. Its functional and without any fluff. It would be horrible if it had useless gifs and gimmicky layout.

Quit defending it, because by web design standards, it sucks and you know it. That's not to say it's a useless site, but I'm just saying it's pretty badly built and very outdated.

Google is well built, clean, and is XHTML Valid. Can't say the same for Bristol. It's built using the standard of like 6-8 years ago.

Okay, arguably google is more up to date, but I really don't see anything wrong with the Bristol site. Looking good is nice, but that site looks good in it's own way. Plus, I found myself easily navigating through site. Took seconds to learn how to get places...whereas where if I went to some other site I'd have to deal with flash...blah blah blah....

Personally, I think flash on photography websites is annoying, too.

Flash is the best and worst thing to happen to web design. It's compatible with almost everything, which is good, but it kills the point of coding, has shitty load times, and doesn't play nice with search engines or anything else. I'm just saying Bristol's site looks and feels as if it were designed by a kid with a WYSIWYG editor... it does not look like a site for a company that makes $300K cars, flash or not.
