Any of you guys try the Windows 7 yet ? I got it but it seems that it does not support IDE CD/DVD drivers. Nevertheless, installation did not begin because it could not find the drivers..

Have any of you try it ? What do you guys think ?

I've been using it on one of my laptops. Seems to be fine so far. Haven't had any driver issues, except with the video card, which was fixed by running a previous Vista driver.

i have it running on a virtual machine and its okay. like a shiny XP. never had vista though. couldnt convert to that shit. there is hope for windows 7

I gave the Beta a try, and wasn't really that impressed with what it offered over Vista.

Maybe I'll upgrade...maybe.

they are also cancelling future upgrading for XP when windows 7 launches

well about time... XP has been around since 2001... I switched to ubuntu... could not be happier. too bad work makes me use windoz.
