Good so far, shame the wheel is on the other side, but i've already kind of gotten used to it

I think our clarkie has a thing for these DS_Naughty2.gif
duality
i dont see anything tongue_orig.gif

You won the car or the rims?

I like viggens and those BBSs but I don't think that counts as a "thing".
moe
I almost missed the fact that it's a Viggen. thumbs_up.gif

Uwe
I see a german numberplate. DS_Naughty2.gif
Asher
Awesome, Viggens are the shit. There's one around campus and I'm jealous every time I see it.
dukenukem
The kid who was in my run group at the race track had an identical Viggen except he had the normal wheels on it. The car did pretty ok for what it is.
Mr b00st
man Viggens are BAMF as fuck

enjoy the torques! and the torque steer.

don't forget to pick up an Abbott Racing "Viggen Rescue Kit." it includes a steering rack clamp/bulkhead brace, poly control arm bushes, support arm bearings, and a subframe brace. Really tightens up the feel of the car quite a lot, reduces axle hop & torque steer, etc. Pricey but worth it. Taliaferro sells an equivalent kit for cheaper but the Abbott system is the original.

MY JEALOUSIES.... THEY ARE PALPABLE

seems like DS is changing from volksstation.com to saabstation.com! wtf mate!
McKhaos
That is one sweet ride. Enjoy it.
Benny
im i the only one who doesn't care for saab? (no hate, just not my thing)
moe
^ I hate the current line-up with a passion.
Benny
I meant in general.
moe
Nah, I actually like the really old 900s that b00st and Asher have. I also like the Sonnet, the 9-3 Viggen, and the 9000 Turbo Aero. Other than that I could give a shit less about the brand.
Bjorn
Moe, I'm the opposite of you.

I find the old cars a bit too quirky for my tastes, but really like the new stuff.

Except the SUV...
moe
^ Well that's exactly why I dislike the new cars, I've always thought of Saab's as a quirky alternative to the mainstream. The only quirkiness left is the placement of the ignition, which is more or less a sad reminder of days gone by. Of the current line-up, the Turbo X wagon is the closest to the old cars, and probably the only Saab I find worthy of the name.

Saab have never really been that good in marketing. Which is one of the main thing that impresses people. Also the competition is the same market segment is almost always better.
Second hand they're a steal though. You get a lot of car for the money you pay.

@ Mr b00st It already has a steering brace and double rear anti-roll bars, which help a lot. Such a difference compared to my other 9-3. Which is still a bit faster btw.

I kinda wish we had nearly the Saab aftermarket here that you guys did so that sort of thing was feasible.

have you had your 9-3 on a rolling road? Any guesses on that?

enjoy the viggen!

Best run was 275HP and 400+NM on the crank. Only mods were a bigger exhaust and a ecu i flashed myself.

nice ride man. Saab guy here too. Just sold our two 9-5s though. We had an aero and a wagon. Loved em to death. Enjoy the torque biggrin.gif, and take care of it please, not many left anymore.

Some proper photos:

And this was at a saab meet, together with a few more viggens:
