Great ep, the GT didn't impress me at all but there are lots of funny bits in the episode!

That was a very good episode, but it did put the GT in a (justifiably) less-than-perfect light. I still love it though.

I use about 8 different trackers for my torrents. One of the trackers changed the port it uses and that affects 3 of my torrents. They are:

If you are partially through one of these or wish to help me seed these "new" torrents (please do!), you will need to download the new torrent. However, you don't have to start over, just point the torrent at the complete/partially compeleted file and it will continue downloading and/or seed.

very interesting review of the vette. almost expected. it's amazing how consistent the US is in car design. oodles of power, fun driveabillity, but the skimp on the other parts to paint a complete picture of a vehicle that's solid in many areas. having said that though, doesn't mean everyone is a genius...heck, Clarkson complains all the time about shoddy Benz craftsmanship!

I think they were more than a little harsh on the C6 Corvette.

Dollar-for-dollar, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better high-powered sports car for the money.

And you know what, leaf springs can be engineered to work to their full potential in sports car applications. I think the Top Gear crew have to get over their anti-American biases. Although I have to admit that most American cars I've driven have been very disappointing to me, I will always have a soft spot for certain American cars such as the Corvette. The Corvette is an automotive icon and the C6 is the best iteration yet.

personally i think some ppl seem to be reading too much into the review. so ok, they gave a review and didn't like the car - i have to admit im not a huge fan either, but that doesnt mean its not any good. just let the car prove itself

god bless viperbond! i was cravin' for top gear so bad it was not funny anymore. came to the united states from india a couple of years ago and used to watch 'top gear' on bbc while in india. was missing it all this while until i stumbled on viperbond's site. cheers!!!

i used to follow 'top gear' while in india a lot. let me tell you something about their shows. they always have to blast american cars on some or the other issue. if my memory serves me right, the only american car they ever liked was the mustang and i cannot forget that episode of tg since it was my god michael schumacher who test drove the mustang cobra gt with jeremy clarkeson in tow. they loved it. tg is very european car oriented and there is no denying that. they just love the aston martins and the ferraris and the beemers. and condemning american hot rods comes very easily to them. well come to think of it, the car which comes to your mind when you think performance has never been an american car right??
