Oregon looks to ban aftermarket parts such as tires. Really? Fucking really?

I'm all for preventing climate change, but this is just ridiculous how about we start by baning the hybrids that are worse for the environment than hummers? God this is lame.

There's no way it goes through... and if it does, I have a feeling that things there are going to get really nasty, really fast. What happens to people who already have completely modified cars?

Kulongowski's just mouthing off. He's also proposed that every single car be fitted with a GPS unit so we can have a "mileage tax" instead of a gas tax. If that were actually implemented, gun-and-survivalist-happy eastern and southern Oregon would revolt. Possibly quite literally. I can't imagine this will actually go through.
