I have never heard of that guy before so I really have no problem continuing to think of the stig as an abstract character. I didn't see a pic, but I didn't scroll very far down so there might have been one

I won't read it until the kill off the current stig. I'm interested to see how they'll top the last stig as driving off an aircraft carrier is pretty extravegant.

Makes no odds to me - it wasn't always him, that is fact. If they do kill him off though the mystery would be - is it a new Stig or is it the same Stig in a different colour suit?
