Well, the bimmer bored the hell out of me, and go into a hit and run. So I looked around for something different, and ended up with this.
It's a Nissan Cedric Gran Turismo Ultima. It's a turbocharged VQ30, so it shares some parts with a 350z, and an I30, so it's not too hard to get parts for it mechanically, but other than that, it's it's own car. There's only three of them in the United States at the moment, and one of the others flipped in the shipping container, and the other one doesn't run right.
Right when it came off the boat and was legalized.

How she sits right now.

Mods...
10K Hids
K-Sport Coilovers
18 inch Work Eurolines
ARC Blow off valve
ARC Intercooler
HKS Catback Exhaust (I usually stick with HKS exhaust systems)
And all of the interior lights are being changed to LEDs. I just recieved the rest of the lights.
I dunno if this requires a "boost is a douche" paper or not...

As soon as i'm done moving. It was between this car, and a real Aristo, totally VIP'ed out. I decided with this one, because it's a clean slate.

So this is what you meant by closer to your username. Awesome. I love it, and oddly enough I really like the wheels as well on there. Usually those plate-like wheels aren't my favorites but they do look unusually good.

How does the legality of these things work? I saw a 'new' beetle the other day at a show that was a 90's model. Have the laws changed that allow for their importation?

Gotta go VIP style with this baby. Nice pull on this one. Is that the original registered Japanese license plate that belonged on the car?

It is Right Hand Drive, as it is in Japan, and it is legally registered here in the united states with the original 10 digit japanese vin, not as a kit car, or a grey area car.

Nice choice. Should've talked to me about an LHD one though. They used to be common as shit in Saudi Arabia back when they were new (the Q45 replaced it, which never really caught on), and they can be bought for throwaway prices these days. It can be rough finding a clean one though. Congrats on the HIN win too.
I've got a RHD, JDM obsession of my own right now. I'm in Pakistan right now, which is an RHD market, and the Toyota Mark X is in vogue here. I'd never seen one before, but it's actually pretty damned cool. RWD, 2.5 or 3.0 V6, about the size and price of a Camry. The styling is a bit bland, and Germanic in the photos, but in real life it's damned slick, what the 3-series should look like. I'm seriously tempted to get a hold of one, and ship it off to Dubai.

Thanks for all of the comments guys. There are three of them in the US, and the other two are not running. One of them has the roof smashed in, and the other one doesn't run right, so it sits in his storage unit. So technically, mine's the only working one.

Awesome car! Are those wheels from WALD? I looked at getting a WALD kit for my W124 Mercedes, they are super nice.
I think this was the body that the first gen infinti M45 was based off of, but I might be wrong...

I believe the M45 replaced this car in Japan, and came to the US as the M45.
