1992 Monaco Grand Prix. Last 10 laps(approx) where Nigel Mansell loses his commanding lead to Ayrton Senna due to a tire puncture. Mansell was racing like a bat out of hell to catch up to Senna, and was literally centimeters behind him the entire final laps of the race. The race finally starts at this point. With fresh tires, Mansell tried numerous times to overtake Senna on a track that's nearly impossible to overtake other cars. Senna rightfully and persistently defended his racing line with very little grip. Senna wins with Mansell taking a very close second, and Gerhard Berger taking 3rd.
From all of the GP's you've ever watched live, on TV, downloaded, etc., which one is your favorite, and why? Crazy crashes, overtakes, interesting situations, controversy, whatever makes you want to keep watching the race over and over again, or something that sticks in your mind as the most memorable GP.

I don't remember which one it was, but I remember some of the details. Irvine and Schumacher at Ferrari, Coulthard and Hakkinen at McLaren. Schumacher is out with an injury due to a horrific crash, so it's up to Irvine to win the championship. Something happened to Hakkinen, so he has to start from 23rd, or something like that. So Irvine and Coulthard duel it out for supremacy. Hakkinen actually manages to make it into 3rd somehow from the back of the field, and Irvine despite having brakes that are about to give up, and coughing carbon out at every corner, manages to fend off Coulthard to win the race. It was absolutely brilliant. Sorry if about any mispellings and gramatical errors, I'm a little bit drunk right now after the Spain/Germany game...SPain WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Did Hakkinen win a WDC title that year?

The most memorable ones for me were when BAR were doing really well - in particular Jenson coming from 13th to 2nd in the German GP and his win in Hungary - mainly because I follow him and the team.
Also Damon Hill nearly winning in the Arrows - again I was following the team because that was when Dad worked for TWR.
There are others but I can't recall them right now.

Spa 1998 had it all:
- Most expensive F1 crash of all during race start in the rain with (I believe) 13 cars involved.
- Schumacher trouncing everyone in the rain after the restart.
- Coulthard holding him up while being lapped and causing Schumacher to crash into him with a more than doubtful manoevre.
- Schumacher returning to the pits on three wheels and furiously rushing to the McLaren garage, yelling at Coulthard.
- Finally the Jordan 1-2 victory with Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher.
- And all this on the most beautiful F1 race track we currently have, with its typical weather.
Truly memorable in my view.

Yeah, he did.
German Grand Prix, 1999. I remembered watching highlights on that race on the 1999 FIA F1 review DVD.

I don't know about favorite, but Brazil '06 is still in my DVR so I can watch it from time to time. Schumi's last race. What I loved about Schumacher was that his driving talent was the last thing he relied on to win a race. He was constantly holding himself back. But every once in a while, when luck wasn't on his side he became a fucking madman and everyone was treated to the sight of the best driver on the planet driving the fastest car on the planet as fast as he can. Fisichella punctured his tire early in the race as he was moving through the traffic, and he was forced to pit to replace it. When he came back out he was almost a lap down. Then he dropped the fucking hammer. Other cars had messages on their wings saying "Thanks Michael," and "Danke Michael". (had to have been one of the most expensive thank you letters ever written.) The championship was Fernando's at that point, but it didn't matter.
There was speculation at that point if the winningest driver in F1 history was pushed out to make room for Kimi Raikkonen. And as the race wound its way to a close Kimi was the man in front of him. Kimi made him earn it, putting him all the way down to the wall, before he flew past. Cut to the Ferrari mechanics screaming in celebration. Cheering for the guy who made Ferrari what it was, he was their driver, and they loved him. He finished the race in 4th, just off the podium.
I was just glad to see The Man do his thing one last time. A very fitting last race for The Shoe.

That was the first time in my years watching that I actually wanted Schumacher to win the championship!
