Mostly because of Euro 2008 I almost forgot Le Mans! Luckily I saw last Thursday that it was this weekend, so I was in front of the telly at 15:00 CET. It promises to be an exiting race this year with Peugeot really challenging Audi's domination of the past years. They were much quicker in qualifying, beating the lap record and the 'magical' 3m20s barrier. But speed ain't everything at Le Mans. Audi proved last year that reliability is king in this race.
I'm rooting for the #34 team van Merksteijn Porsche RS Spider. It's the pole car in the LMP2 class, and it's all Dutch

The proved that they can win in the LM series this year, so hopefully they can keep the car in one piece and take the victory!
LMGT1 is always exciting with the never ending fight between the Astons and Corvettes and sometimes the occasional Lambo of Ferrari spicing it up.
LMGT2 will most likely be won by a 911, as every year...
