This has been on the car for like over 3 months actually, but there just wasnt time (or warmth) to get around to it. Well at my moms work they were having construction, and a fine mist of cement got splattered across the entire car. You'll see from the pictures below what it looks like. She started pursuing it with the insurance company, but they wanted $500 up front for the deductible and then they'd start pursuing matters. Whether the construction company was going to reimburse us was a big maybe, so she gave up.
Also, some pickle sniffer keyed the car in front of our own house about two weeks ago. It looks fucking awful, and of course I'm assuming it would require a respray. Are there any options at all to somehow mask the scratch... or are we SOL. It's only through the clearcoat. All this shit, and the car only has 23k, feck.
Any suggestions how to remove the cement? I looked shit up on google and found cement can be removed with pure vinegar, or dilluted muriatic acid. I tried vinegar on one spot, and it did absolutely nothing.
I think I may post this in Autopia as well, seeing as they know their car care.
