This is a clip of the new zr1 being tested for top speed. It sounds ridiculous!! Im not sure, but i think they were pulling that in 6th gear! Anyone know where they are?

I can't imagine being steady going nearly 200mph that close to a wall in the turn. It accelerated surprisingly fast.

Hm, a nearly empty oval crowded only with a few other car and truck testers and he has a weird feeling? What would he have said if the Papenburg test engineer went on the nearby Autobahn A31 afterwards with him and then accelerated to topspeed?

I like the new ZR1 and all, but who needs all that power? 620 horsepower? I mean, it was enough with 505 from the Z06, but that's just too much....Plus, Corvettes have always been about normally aspirated engines....sure they had the Callaway and all, but that wasn't stock, that was done at a racing factory....Wanna know a really cool car? The original ZR-1....That was an awesome car to drive....Being a Vette owner, I can say that my 345 horsepower convertible is quite enough....and yes even though it says I have a HEMI I also have a Vette....
