I finally got a chance to watch the third race from last weekend's BTCC series (I didn't have my laptop all week).

They announced at the end that this Sunday marks the first race from the FIA GT championship at Silverstone.

So much racing...so few weekends!

I watched a bit on tv, but it was so foggy it didn't make for great viewing, I don't know what happened in the end I had to go out. Who won? I've been to the race for the last two years, is usually a good day out, but the weather looked foul yesterday.

EDIT: The blue and white Aston, with the British and German driver won, which was really surprising, considering he had a big off. An MC12 came in second, and the new Grey and Red Aston Martin (Gigawave) came in third after executing a brilliant pit strategy and being massively lucky with a Safety Car.

It was OK racing, but I don't think I would download it again. I didn't know that there were classes, and to tell you the truth, I much prefer races where everyone is in the same class. I downloaded it cuz I wanted to see Masers, Porsches, Ferraris, Astons, Lambos, Saleens and what not all going at it...
