I would love to do this but my car's too shiny (just washed it, too).

Some day, some day...when I have more than one car.

Phfft, vanity is a poor excuse to avoid rallying.

Wished these events would be held closer to DFW sad.gif

I die a little inside every time I see these posts.

If they had stuff like this here I would be bankrupt, single and hunted by creditors but happy.

Same thing here! Damn, can't wait to have a decent car and money to go lapping or autocrossing!

This, its ugly but fun to drive and built like tank, RWD too.

why have you been hiding it for so long? That looks like a great car to go rally-X in

woot.gif Aside from the racing paint job (and I can't really tell but it looks like you ripped the interior out) have you modified it at all? You have to get us some action shots! tongue.gif

Sweeet I want a rally beater.
RallyCat909
Its not really mine. My buddy and I drive it together at events. It had a lowered ghey suspension that some kid put on it, but we got another stock one and put it in for the rigors of rallyx, which makes the car a joy to drive. A rollcage is coming, and we hope to be stage rallying it in 2009. We're planning alot of seat time to be fast on the first rally (at least brisk, just finishing will be a plus) and rallyx is the best way to do so.

Cool, sharing the car with a friend is a great idea. I was thinking a car like this is probably one of the easiest ways to get into motorsport (and have fun). But damn, for a car that old, they still aren't cheap!

It's the Initial D tax...

It's a nice project! I might do this with a friend to cut down the expenses, but I'd get a 240sx or Rx-7 (FC) because parts are cheap and easy to find.
