Wow you must've been keeping this secret for awhile if you got an exclusive interior'd RS4 coming tomorrow.

I'm guessing he ordered it after finding the S5 wasn't to his taste.

Audi S5 vs. Audi RS4
Same displacement
S5 has 8 more lb-ft of torque at 2000 rpm lower
S5 has 66 less horsepower at 1000 rpm lower
Same limited top speed
S5 is .1 seconds to 60 slower
S5 weighs 364 lbs less
S5 costs $16,910 USD less
You get a nicer engine in the RS4 but it weighs more so ultimately you get the same performance either way (on paper at least). I would imagine the RS4 will feel more taught and a bit better suited for spirited driving (I didn't research that), but the RS4 costs SO MUCH more and is arguably less attracting/interesting to look at. Plus, you originally wanted the S5. So the question is, Porschedream, why did you change your mind?

Maybe the handling and feel of it? I'd imagine the RS4 is a MUCH better drive than the S5, but I've never driven either so I could be wrong.

He got it for the badge.
Anyone who wants a AWD car for its handling and feel will only go for the EVO IX

That is awesome PD, but for some reason I'm not digging the interior, as much as I love the idea of it. Perhaps it's just the photos, congrats man.

Yeah I dunno what compelled you to get that interior, though I imagine a camera with better color reproduction will make it look nicer.
Personally if I went to the trouble of getting an exclusive interior'd RS4, I'd just get Alcantara. I

Alcantara.

Beautiful. Congratulations on the purchase, and have fun with it. It looks so at-home in the snow

It's a great piece of automotive engineering thats for sure. The reason I chose Red was because I always had the intention of getting a car with a red interior back in the days when I was into the 911 C4S. Boxster Red or Custom Red from Audi, I love it. The cell phone picture quality does no justice as it looks more orange than red.

I was just wondering, are those the stock RS4 mats? The size of the script on them makes them look awfully tacky.

No those are only available with the Audi Exclusive package. Of course you can just buy them.
