FINALLYYY.. i finally got the FiveAxis Scion TC lip kit installed. This kit is so damn expensive it's ridiculous.. but the quality is top notch and it fits perfectly. Plus knowing Troy@FiveAxis helps too. I prepped and test fitted it Saturday, my friend painted it Saturday night, and we installed it Sunday morning.. and had a mini photoshoot Sunday afternoon.

The kit looks good, but in order to minimize the visual height of the sides of the car I would have elected to paint the lips and skirts flat black.

um... but that's the point of the lip kit? I wanted to visually lower the car.

I see...IMHO the visual height of the car now looks a bit awkward, but everyone has their own preferences. I still think it looks like a quality addition.

It does look good but...it's still a tC. It's like, why doesn't it have RWD and a sonorous motor in it for that kinda dough and effort?

Yeah still not crazy about the car, but it doesn't look bad. Paint isn't matched that well really... Is a "lip kit" supposed to look like this? The seams don't really flow, the kit part looks like it's on top of the original body and thus there's a ridge. I like the last photo.

that is a freakin nice lip kit. it looks like speedbumps will be your worst enemy. haha.

EIther Way, it all comes down to how you feel when youre driving the car.

Some people feel better by making their car look cool and spending alot of money on that instead of performance stuff.
Some people feel better by making their car go faster and spending very little on appearance stuff.
Some people do both.

As long as they feel good when driving it, its all good.

its nice for a TC, clark makes a good point though, you really have put way too much fucking money into the outside of it.

um.. it's not just the outside.

i've got springs, strut bars, sway bars, short shifter, supercharger, pulleys, intake, exhaust, upgraded rotors + pads, not to mention wheels, car audio, interior, etc. Plus I've got some engine management coming soon. I think I'm pretty well balanced.

This may have been discussed in another thread a while ago, but due to all these mods, what are the performance specs now?

Diesel's car looks quite badass in real life... and this was before the painting and the body kit.
