The more reliable of the sites I DL F1 from just got an FIA cease and desist letter. So I might not be able to get qualifying in time....so here are my wild guess choices, they might change before the race starts.

1) Massa
2) Hamilton
3) Raikkonen
4) Kubica
5) Alonso
6) Webber
7) Kovalinen
8) Piquit (sp?)

In light of recent bullshit we will score on the revised result on the Grand Prix, because it happened on the same day - for future reference, if a race result is amended the day after (or more days) we will score based on the result on the day.

Good result for the Torro Rosso boys, good for a championship showdown. I know I'm a Hamilton fan, but that decision is pretty bad, in my opinion.

So therefore:

FYI It's raining today and heavy showers are the weather forecast for tomorrows qualifying and the race. Sutil was quickest in the first practice, but it was pretty meaningless.
Dr. Strangelove
1Massa
2Kovalinen
3Vettel
4Bourdais
5Rosberg
6Webber
7Alonso
8Trulli

I have no idea what will happen tomorrow. Look for Hamilton to take risks.

Augh, the ITV dl is so slow...and I can't abide the Speed coverage (I tried last week and between missing huge chunks of qualifying for commercials and the banter between the hosts I nearly went insane). So I have to guess for now, and maybe change my choices after I watch the coverage, assuming that's in time for the race.

This is again a massive shot in the dark, but here we go.

1) Massa
2) Raikkonen
3) Kubica
4) Alonso
5) Vettel
6) Kovalinen
7) Trulli
8) Webber

1. Kovalinen
2. Massa
3. Alonso
4. Vettel
5. Rosberg
6. Trulli
7. Hamilton
8. Raikonen

They are saying the weather should be the same as Qualifying, what a race will it be?

Bullshit, I edited my prediction via my iphone yesterday straight after qualy, but it hasn't registered here. I can't remember how it went except for the following:

1. Kovalainen
2. Vettel

7. Hamilton
8. Raikkonen

I had Alonso, Massa & probably the BMWs, but I can't remember what order.

I'll leave it up to you guys to decide whether or not you trust me, but it's only 1 point.
Lancer007
Holy crap! Go Vettel!

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt tune.

Wow, there are some really great drivers coming up in F1...once we get rid of some of the dead weight (older drivers who never do anything) F1 could be looking at a real golden age, where any team could win.

Also, more testament to the fact that Hamilton needs everything to go in his direction for him to be at the top of his game...unlike guys like Alonso who can take shit circumstances and pull a decent finish out of it. I strongly feel that Hamilton could have learned to deal with poor circumstances better had he moved up in F1 through the ranks like most drivers do...It was a mistake to put him in a top tier team straight out of GP2 IMO.
Dr. Strangelove
I agree. The guy keeps on cooking his tires, then can't race anyone. Bush league mistakes.
tune
I wouldn't say that it was a mistake to put him in the top tier, because it is evident that he is a good driver - okay he lacks experience, which is also evident - but he is a proven race winner and was it not for the whole Spygate last year would've helped McLaren win the constructors in his first season. What I'm trying to say is that he is achieving enough to justify his place there, he was equal on points with a double world champion at the end of his first season, one point off the top and he's currently leading the championship now. Yes, there's no doubt he is lucky in that he's gone straight into a good car, but Heikki is in that car and has only got one win to his name (and we know that was pretty lucky).

I know I'm always defending Hamilton, I am a British fanboi, but I genuinely believe he's a good driver, just lacking in experience. I do think Coulthard's decision to retire this season is for the best, he's had some bad drives this year.
