Wasn't in the car for more than one year apart from a few demonstration laps in summer, comes to Barcelona and posts the fastest time in testing. And this with the standard electronic (no traction control, no driver aids) which has to be used next year. Outstanding job.

He is the greatest driver of this era...I like him more now that he is retired.

Is he the greatest of all time? I dunno...could he have done what Fangio did (I think it was Fangio) and be a minute behind 2/3 into the Nuremberg ring race, set the fastest time on every lap and win? I Don't know...

Yes I think he could. I'm not surprised he was that quick, he's the most experienced driver without driving aids, of those with the quickest cars in F1, still a great job.
