Eh, this video proves that I don't particularly love the way V12s sound. I'll always hold flat-sixes, VR6s, and inline-5s in the highest regard in terms of aural quality.

Engine sounds good to me. Can't stand flat-sixes, pretty pathetic sound.

inline 5's sound retarded.. and flat-6's sound weak... sorry clarkma, but good old V8's win the sound department.

Wow, you're retards for dissing the flat 6...nothing sounds better than a 911 on WOT, screaming towards 7000 RPMs and beyonds. Nothing finer!

You said we were "retards", where I just think you're incorrect.

it sounds like a rusty chain
a stock, carb'd 350 with good mufflers, or even straight pipes sounds better.
i'm not saying the flat-6 isn't a performer, it just sounds like shit.

V8s sound too refined...too straightjacketed. I like that mechanical clatter you get with a flat-6...and with that I think we should end this argument.

this argument is ended. 5LiterMustang: 1 Clarkma5: 0

No, I think we're tied, because we both said that the flat-6 contains the same thing aurally (lots of mechanical clatter) but you dislike it and I love it. There's no winning or losing that "argument"

ya, we totally hijacked it...
anyways... some guy at a swap meet had a "stock" 350 on a stand with the exhaust going through "SpinTech Mufflers" and it sounded fucking amazing. Like a full-blown racecar. I loved it. the end.
