I was thinking it looked like an ION. I like the styling of the current one but the performance did nothing for me.

Totally went Japanese with the new design. If I wanted a Carolla, I would get one, but VW has had their distinctive styling, which I have liked.

The Golf looks great, IMO, but this Jetta is ruined by the rear end treatment, The Golf V front-end does not deserve to be grafted onto a three box sedan, it belongs on a two-box hatchback. The Jetta V needs its own unique front end like the current Jetta (but it ain't gonna get it)

The golf looks alright... I've seened some tuned ones that make it look awesome. The lights fuck everything up.

With the exception of the front end, it has a remarkable resemblance to the 2003+ Corolla.
So .... is this new generation Jetta going to built in Mexico as well ?
I stand by my theory that VW has not been the same since they started building most of their cars outside of Germany.

A lot of the stuff around the bottom of the car makes me think "photoshop", but hey, even VW uses photoshop to dress up their images, so it can be hard to tell, but it doesn't surprise me one bit that this is a photshop.

WTF's up with the camo? I guess it works, but still, that looks silly.
Kinda weird though...I saw that lower grill and immediately though "holden", but the mirrors and headlights are definitely A5 pieces.

Now, those three you posted look more genuine (and a lot nicer)
Wouldn't mind if the Jetta sedan looked like that middle pic...it's got a strong rear-end, reminiscent of the Audi 90 or, more recently, the Phaeton/Audi A8

Yep, the Golf Variant (a model the US will never see and probably never will have to) unless it gets badged as the Jetta Wagon in the states, because the Golf V and Jetta V will not have seperate styling (or so the rumors go...)

You've never heard of spy photography have you?
I bet you just sit around waiting to see the official press release before considering there might be a new model coming.
