Anyone been? Want to? Went but chickened out at the last moment?

I'm thinking about doing it so I was wondering if anyone has their own personal experience to share?
spitfire
did it last year after hang gliding proved to be a bore thumbs_down.gif since it was my first time, i had to do a tandem style (big guy named Jim strapped to my back dry.gif ) anyways, we went up to about 15,000 ft and did the jump. Based on my experience, the only sort of real thrill/ rush i got came after Jim pulled the parachute cord, beyond that I was pretty much up there having casual conversations, like trying to find out whether or not there were any good strip clubs around Raspberry.gif one thing i would recommend though, is that you have a decent meal prior to jumping. I did my jump around 2:00pm and tried to avoid eating anything for fear of throwing up- big mistake head.gif as we made our descent the pressure being exerted on my empty stomach made me feel really crappy canadian.gif
i would like to try bungee jumping next though, hopefully that will evoke some kind of real rush for me happy2.gif

Well, if (and it's more likely going to be a 'when') I do it I'll be lucky to NOT shit my pants. I have a fear of both flying and heights. This is kind of a way for me to overcome them both in one shot. I'll be going with a friend and obviously will be doing it tandem style. I hope whoever is attached to me doesn't mind a sudden warmth in his crotch area.
slip
did it last summer, tandem as well. glad i did it that way, because it all happend so fast i don't think i would've thought to pull the cord. the part that gave me the rush was freefalling, after the 'chute was pulled i thought it to be kind of boring.
scariest part was stepping out of the door onto the the little step outside of the plane. i remember the guy i was jumping with told me to count to three, and as soon as i said "one" he pushed us off.
went with my friend who's also an instructor, and he brought along a camera for the jump so it was pretty cool to watch that after, something to think about doing (probably charge you extra)

don't think i'd go do it again for the price i paid, but it was a fun experience and something to cross off my life "to do" list

Always wanted to try it. I've always been an adrenaline junky in one way or another, and something about freefalling from 15,000 feet sounds like fun.

Did it 2 years ago.

Do it...tis an unforgettable experience. And don't chicken out tongue_orig.gif I paid about 400chf, but it was all worth it.
