Good thing I speak French tongue.gif I must admit though, Canadian French sounds nothing like the one spoken here...

Seems like you devoted a lot of time on the car, keep it up...looking forward to seeing the final 'product'. I know nothing about car restoration...this provides some insight biggrin.gif

Je suis sur montrealracing.com (photoshopaddict).

I plan to mod the car to do lapping events and give a try at drifting at st-eu one night. I want to refresh the look of the car too, bbs wheels, 535is front valance, side skirts etc... It should look good!

btw, Rolling Stones? Why? I've never listen to any of their songs!

Nice E28! Were you one of the Canadians that made it to 5er fest this year?
Si_GTi
Loving the blackness - much better than the old chrome, well done! thumbs_up.gif

I am inspired to do my own work on an oldskool Beamer..

I might get into it next year for my holidays.

Wicked job, I absolutely love BMWs from that era...If I had a garage (stupid condominium!) I would be inspired to go find my own E28!
Matt_L
wow that's old!

Here's an update: dropped 2k$ of reparation on the car, so no update for a long time! sad.gif
Bjorn
Shit, I didn't even realize this was a massive bump!

It wasn't you that bumped though, so don't worry. BarcaGaffer beat you to it.

There's a similar car in my parents neighborhood. I saw it, and had to pull over to admire it. It's in beautiful shape,

New rear suspension links (pitman rear arm), tie-rod, drive shaft's center bearing, transmission link, new exhaust flange, new winter tires, new european batterie, all the smalls things like gasket, oil, etc... + hourly rate for the mechanic (70$/hr) = 1800ish$ = me no more money for anything...

Well it's kinda fun since the car is nice to drive now (no weird noise, doesn't pull to the right and rear subframe is stable) but no, no fun upgrade sad.gif
