The rear tires are actually powered by the various stickers you see on the car, such as Street TrendZ and Fast&Furious.

Naw! They're powered by those huge exhaust pipes, and the spoilers!
But then again I've known for these stickers to have great power in winning racers.

Maybe there's a bunch of hamsters in each of the rear tires.
