he's a pretty intellectual dude. he knows what he's talking about and if you can wrap your mind to his point of view, it makes a lot of sense as well.

i always thought marilyn manson was a retard until i saw some of his interviews....smart guy. give him lots of props for being able to speak his mind in his sort of fashion.

I saw this a while ago, not sure how old it is though, but it's a pretty good interview. Although I'm a really big Manson fan and he is a very intelligent person I think O'Reilly has a point in this interview about how easy it is for kids to misinterpret stuff like this.

He was a nerd when he was in school.

But yeah, watching O'Reilly, he's just the ultimate spinner...he tweaks everything he doesn't like to sound evil and perverse. Fortunately, you don't have to be particularly bright to spot it because he isn't very subtle about it. I applaud Marilyn Manson for being as calm and explanatory as he was, and I feel he successfully argued against all of O'Reilly's points, even the few that seemed reasonably good on their own.

I listen to his stuff on occasion, and one thing popped out to me. He said he uses coarse langauge to express his points rather than violence, but at the same time, he does photoshoots like the one that nismo posted, and he has a song called "Use Your Fist And Not Your Mouth"... just a bit of irony, as I see it.
