....well, of course. It's a press demonstration. What did you think they were trying to make it seem as? There's nothing "fake" about the car crawling out of the gigantic hole in the ground.

Yeah, you're right. Michigan is kinda the stinky asshole of the United States. Everybody avoids it.

It wouldn't matter if the government even HAD the money to fix the roads. When they lay them down, they make the roads too shallow. So, when the temperature changes a lot, especially before winter, they break apart. Not to mention their definition of fixing a pothole involves filling it with asphalt that just gets broken up after a month or two.

Oh yeah, our roads get the same ass-backwards treatment on this side of the Cheese State.

One word:
Penndot.
Only place that would pave OVER a dead deer, paint road lines AROUND debris in the road, and do traffic surveys at 1:00AM.

Hooooooooooooooooooly shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! You got me beat. MNdot at least throws dead animals and debris in the ditch for the community service goons to pick up. But they still stand around leaning on shovels whenever you drive by. And the other thing that drives me nuts is that they close a lane of traffic to clean the concrete divider on freeways. This is just a means to burn-up funding so they don't have a surplus at the end of the year and get their funding cut for the next fiscal year. Government programs are so fiscally irresponsible and innefficient.

btw, do you have any pics of the stuff mentioned above?
