I doubt many of y'all remember me, but I felt like whoring out some pics so I thought that they may be appreciated here.

And for kicks a picture when I had my 18"s.

And a chop I did

Hope y'all enjoyed.

V6ers didnt have dual exhausts oh.gif
Uwe
Am I the only one who doesn't like viewing pics that are glued together and with no space left between them?

Edit: A lot better now.

Exactly what I was thinking...

I kept staring at the pics thinking...

"Looks sort-of-like Adam's '95 stang"
"Hmm....no GT logo on side"
"No 'Mustang GT' on back"
"Dual exhaust!????"
"Wait....."

From the back, I'm guessing it's either a '96 or '97 --something around there. Adam's stang has the horizontal stripes on the back lights.

Tis a nice car though =p and LOVE the new wheels.

Thanks y'all.

Yes, its a 97 V6 slowmatic. It runs a winter hibernating 16.71 in the quarter. I am currently working on either a Supercoupe motor (3.8 supercharged), or a Split port swap (Motor from a 99-04 Mustang, 200hp, and I forget the torque). S/C swap I am looking at bolt on 100rwhp, and 130wtq.

It dyno'd 128whp, 194tq nothing earth shattering, but its better than my old car that was 120hp, 150tq at the crank. Mods are GT swaybars front and rear, GT strut tower brace, 2002 GT brake upgrade (PBR Dual piston aluminum calipers vs stock single piston cast iron calipers). I have a new roof for it (Black) I just haven't gotten around to installing it yet. It has a CD player and sub powered by a 900w RF amp.

Appearance mods are Mach 1 chin spoiler, Mach 1 exhaust tips, painted rear valance, shorty antenna, tinted windows, painted calipers, cobra headlights, black mesh behind the grill, and foglight holes, and I had taillight and sidemarker tint, but it's currently off of the car.

Engine mods are UDP, K&N filter, dual magnaflow straight pipe exhaust, and a ported TB.

I've never heard a supercharged v6 stang. Do post a video when/if you get it done.

looks good with the updated wheels on it...

but, for the money all that work would cost, you'd be much better off selling it and just buying a newer GT (manual, at that)

I wish I had video of my friends. He has a 2001 V6, 4.2L F150 motor, ported polished, the works. 15psi, He just had it dyno'd he hasn't told me the exact numbers yet, but the tuner is saying high 11's, low 12s.

I know exactly where my blower is sitting, I am just trying to convince the guy it would be better in my car than his garage. I'll keep y'all updated on it.

Hey, I remember you. Welcome back.

Nice Mustang, although it's a slowmatic.
TexanBerettaGT
So, I finally came back again. School + work has me pretty busy but I have some new toys on the Stang. Maybe this time I'll stick around longer than three days.

I finally lowered it, and it's riding on Mach1 springs, Tokico Mach1 spec shocks and struts (I had Bilsteins, but sold them due to a financial crunch I was in) 03 Cobra A-arms, HIDs, Subframe connectors are going on in a couple of weeks. Some new tires, and I will begin to auto x / Road course in January. It was also in the July/August issue of Domestic Driver for those interested.

V6 automatic it may be, it's still a nice looking 'stang.
moethepaki
Personally, I'm not a fan of that badgeless grille, but the rest of the car looks great. I also think the more modern design of your 18s was better suited to your car than the current rims, but that's not to say these look bad at all.

Mach 1 spoiler looks good. Is it just the pictures or do the corner lights not fit very well? It looks like there's a serious gap between them and the top of the bumper.
DaGonz
My son has a V6 Mustang with the automatic, but he has done modifiications, like a performance chip, dual exhaust (Magnaflow), cold air induction, Saleen body kit, lowered the suspension and larger wheels with performance tires. It looks and sounds like V8 Mustang and performs a lot like one, too

I see you repalced the top. Light colored covertible tops are a royal pain in the ass to keep clean! head.gif

Looks clean man. And don't be so down on it being an auto, that 4R70W has potential when built and kept cool
