After playing around with Vista for a few days, you may want to remove it from your system, and reclaim the hard drive space. Microsoft has made this step very simple as well.

Boot your computer in to Windows XP.
Ensure you have the Vista DVD image emulated or in the DVD drive.
Go to “Start” and “Run”. Type in “e:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force” (without quotes, and replacing e: with the drive letter of your Vista DVD).
Restart the computer, and you will notice the boot selection menu is gone.
Format the partition/drive where you had Vista installed.
Remove two files (Boot.BAK & Bootsect.BAK) on your XP drive’s root folder (C:), these were backup files of your previous bootloader, now no longer useful.
Optional: Restart to ensure it still works.
Use your partition software to merge your partitions together.
And now you have returned your computer to its previous state, without Vista and without the new bootloader. If anyone has any issues, please post it in comments and I’ll try to resolve it.

Thank god i found this.

Uhh, that's removing the Vista bootloader, and reinstalling XP. There is no automatic uninstall for Vista.

No , you don;t have to re-install anything.

u just do that and the Xp will boot normally.

then Delete the fucken Vista files or format its partion or anything.

Take it from me/us; if you're changing something as major as an operating system on your computer (especially one made by Microsoft), you'll want to format the hard drive and reinstall which ever version you're going for. Upgrades/downgrades seemingly do the job, but they leave such a mess and usually end up in more errors than normal.

Or, as one person suggested, move away from Windows. If you don't want to hop onto the OS X bandwagon (I did, I love it), then Ubuntu is great, and with a quick and easy installation of Wine, you can run many of your favorite Windows applications on it. I currently have Ubuntu installed on my spare computer, with a copy of IE6 on it so I can test the sites I develop.

Fuck Windows.

He might of installed it on a seperate partition but from the intellegence i've seen from him in this thread I don't think he's smart enough to do that.

If you were a "pro" you wouldn't be asking stupid questions like this.

Also you'd be better at working the keyboard aka not making so many typos or advertising that you pirated Photoshop in your signature.
