Former Rolls Royce boss Klaus Dieter Frers and a team of auto-industry experts have developed the new Artega GT Coupe. The car, which will be officially unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, is roughly the same size as Volkswagen’s small Polo hatch. It measures just 3.95m in length and 1.87m wide, and with a height of only 1.18m, is no taller than a Lamborghini Gallardo.
The car’s lines were penned by none other than former Aston Martin designer, Henrik Fisker, while its running gear was developed by former Porsche technical designer Hardy Essig. Under the hood is a 3.6L V6 engine borrowed from Volkswagen that develops 300hp, enough to propel the Artega to its 270km/h top speed. Production will start in November this year at a plant in Delbrueck, Germany, with sales expected to begin in the middle of next year.
The creators hope to sell the car in markets as diverse as the US, Eastern Europe, Japan, Asia and in the Middle East, however, sales will be limited to Germany initially. Only 500 units will be constructed per year, and according to Auto Motor und Sport, it should sell for roughly €75,000. i LOVE this idea! looks like a modern day Ferrari Dino but with the power to back it up!

It looks like a fusion of a Cayman and F430 to me.

Extremely generic and cookie cutter.
He's just not trying anymore.
It's a F430, Cayman, and Europa mix.

I adore the concept of a smaller supercar. Visually it's reserved for sure, but it's still attractive. I love it.

Interesting concept, I definitely like the idea though it's boringly executed. (at least visually)
EDIT: God damn! Who cares if it's nothing new. It's hot!

I like it, but I agree with everyone else...everything about it just seems like it has been done before

Looks quite nice, although doesn't jump out from the crowd. I'm not so keen on small super cars, for me they should be larger to promote the power factor.

Kind of reminds me of the stature of the new Eclipses. Still a beautiful Supercar regardless of it's lack of originality.

Fisker's first two cars were visually much more appealing

hope it can repeat the legend of the Ford RS200
That's a very pretty car...and pretty is the right word for it somehow. TBH, I think it's a better sorted design that Fisker's coach-building efforts, but those were probably somewhat dictated by the basic form of their donor cars.

Cayman meets F430 and DB9. Still a nice looking car though.

I reeeeeeeeally like it, but yes..it's missing any kind of soul whatsoever. It needs that ridiculous random part that all supercars have.

Heh, I like the second set of pictures but I imagine I only do because I like the other cars that the designer ripped off the elements from. :/

It looks like a toy somehow. I think it's the line along the side is dipping between the two wheel arches

The second round of pictures are more impressive. It's really attractive...very low and wide. I like it. Rear engined naturally aspirated V6 making 300hp 258 lb-ft and weighing only 2425 lbs. I really like it!

The car has a...booty. I mean, just look at the side shot...it's ass is huge. I don't mean that in a bad way, I think it looks awesome. Aggresive look, but not too aggresive. Always been a fan of small cars.
Hopefully there is a reasonable price to go along with it's small size.

~$100,000...performancewise that's not spectactular value for money.

It would be an exclusive car to own though...even at $100k. Imagine how confused people who aren't that knowledgeable about cars would be as to what this was.

I suggest that there is a dash of Exige in the recipe too – at least in the rear aspect

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
In Europe, with lots of narrow roads, cars that are very wide are limited in their ability to be driven as intended.
I like relatively small, high performance cars
because they are small.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I'd give my left nut to own a Mercedes Benz CLK-DTM.

Reminds me of the Seat Tango a bit...whatever the case, I think it looks great, and is an awesome idea.
