That's right. Lets get some suggestions and reasons for.

I don't wanna hear "oh man the new Killers single, dude", because that shit is not what one drives to.
I'm talking the music that you want to hear shredding around a corner or cutting through traffic like a dagger through the heart of satan as snakes and blood spill from the heavens and you dodge them slalom-style in the autocross of the apocalypse.

srsly, good songs?

Metallica - Battery (Major road rage song, you have been warned.)
Judas Priest - You Got Another Thing Coming

Son Volt (first three albums specifically). Has a steady rhythm to it that's great for covering long distances; anytime I'm driving I want to listen to it and anytime I listen to it I want to drive. Definitely not good for being aggressive or puttering around town though; it makes you want to get out on the highway and just cruise.

For going crazy, I like to crank Electric 6. And I Monster is THE BEST for driving around at night.
Pking688
Rammstein - Du Hast
chillinmofo1
It's Trippin - Goldtrix
Drive Slow - Kanye West
Oasis - Dunno who
Riders On the Storm smile.gif - The Doors Experience

Are you gonna go my way. Som many times playing GT3 with that song playing. Once I was just driving down the freeway when the song came on. I just thought to myself "man traffic is moving slow today" I look down, 110 MPH. Oops.

Ugh.

I usually listen to trance/techno/electronica. I have been on a mid 90's vocal techno trip lately. =X If I am driving fast, I will usually put in a Happy Hardcore CD in. But if I am driving around usually trance.

"Faster Kill Pussycat"- Paul Oakenfold ft Brittany Murphy is a good one.

"Stockholm Syndrome"- Muse

"Hysteria"- Muse

"Newborn"- Muse [Paul Oakenfold techno remix]

Trance makes great driving music, especially when driving at night. When driving during the day though, I normally don't listen to the radio, unless I'm sitting in traffic. My engine and exhaust makes some good music cool.gif.

Anything from Modest Mouse...but more so from the first 3 albums...

I don't understand why poeple love that song so much. I mean it's a good song (if you like industrial and a little weird german) but there are songs by them (particularly on that same album Sehnsucht) that are better. Some of my favorites include engel, adios, tier, Los and Moskau.

cuz it was on the radio. and you're supposed to like everything on the radio, silly.

I think it's a bit silly that a guy with an Elise is asking for driving tunes.

Does your car even have a radio? tongue_orig.gif

hahahhaa, i know. usually i'm all over the driving music, but with this car i hardly listen to anything at all. i have an upgraded stereo from the standard Blaupunkt model, but you're right. the engine right behind your ass is enough, and you do want to hear what it's doing.

I do make cds for my friends, though. canadian.gif
