SunReflective Technology -
Special pigments embedded into the leather help reflect infra-red radiation ensuring treated areas that are exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period can remain up to 20 degrees cooler compared to untreated leather.

Engine/Transmission -
Representing the flagship of the range is the 335i Convertible with its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter engine. Using an aluminum cylinder block rather than the magnesium alloy unit from the 325i Convertible, but with the added benefit of lag-free forced induction, the 335i posts a zero to 60 mph time of 5.5 seconds. The 300 bhp engine, higher than the output of the E36 BMW M3, has been restricted to a 150 mph top speed (on vehicles equipped with the Sport Package). Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 28.5 mpg. Peak torque of 300 lb-ft from just 1,400 rpm through to 5,000 rpm gives the driver a real surge of effortless power, acceleration and flexibility.
Both the 325i Convertible and the 335i Convertible come as standard with a six-speed manual gearbox. A new six-speed automatic transmission featuring steering wheel-mounted gearshift paddles first shown on the 3 Series Coupe can also be specified.

I think I understand the coupe now...The coupe was designed such that the Cabrio would look exactly like it with the top up...those tricky bastards.

The C70 is still my favorite hardtop. Lots of glass on this one, though.

Ugh another folding hardtop. Hate 'em.
Cyclone
Hey it's just as disappointing and ugly as a normal 335i. Way to go BMW!

Too much overhang in the back. Dont like it.

Lets all give a great big hooray for the new chariot of choice for middle age trophy wives, and obnoxiosly spoiled teenage daughters!

It looks so plain still.

Good idea with the treated leather though.

Although the folding hardtop is a stunning piece of engineering, I don't like it. It must reach to far, and the whole car looks to long. The line along the side doesn't help neither does the rear overhang.

I never really got the purpose of 4 seater convertibles...

So you can have a convertible and drive more than one person around with you at a time?

Miata hardtop > all other hardtop convertibles

That said, I do like this one as well...
ForeverVilleneuve
Its mercedes-ish.
From the back.

Hell yes! Just what the world needs, a convertible Mazda Millenia. sick.gif
clarkma5
I'd take a Millenia convertible over this. I mean, c'mon...Miller Cycle V6...

Fine, they're tied at the top.
camshaft
The rear overhang looks way too long in convertible form.

Hardtop convertible infers a power mechanism in this case.

why do the robots always win? :<

Face it, they're the lords and masters of the human race. Just wait until 2019 and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Keep the top down and it's "ok". When top comes up, so will my vomit. As camshaft said, there is way too much space between therear windsheild and the end of the car. For the $50,000ish it's worth, I would MUCH rather have the new C70.
GTR6guy
I like it.

it looks horrible witht he roof up...from the front..the car looks gorgeous.....but from the back...its reminds me of a honda accord......disappointed...the e34 3 series cabrio or coupe was like sleek.....i had both versions in england...a m3 cabrio and a 330ci coupe....miss them....sold them when i came back to malaysia...i don think i will be buying 1 of those new models
