well emo doesn't really have anything to do with age. I was trying to make the point that they start fights with teens and then think they're hot shit (not shit hot PBB) because they have the rest of the forum to back them up.

The only thing I've noticed is that people can't take a joke. The emo thing was obvious...the b/w girl in the wallpaper is the definition of emo (hairstyle, the star, her body language...come on, there is no way that's not emo) so why can't you just laugh it off. Say "Heh, I guess she is emo" and then come back with a joke. No, you have to go and insult everyone else by saying your desktops are obviously the best. We poke fun here and there, but I try to keep mine focused on one person instead of a whole forum. Most of my insults are meant to be funny, and if they're not you can point that out, but if somebody disagrees don't go on forever about why it wasn't funny. Everybody just needs to stop being so defensive, it makes the whole topic look childish. Just make fun of desktops if you'd like, but don't drag it on for a whole page on the thread. It's not the whole forum against you two in my opinion, it's just that you're taking comments way too seriously. I know everyone is guilty of this at some point on forums, but this has been the obvious case since vanquish's desktops. Which suck! (See, joke, please don't quote and reply because I'm not being serious)

Either that, or we start using colored fonts on jokes so that they are completely clear.

And of all people, you two, (Paralex mostly, but koof also) being literate from what I can tell, should be able to take some hazing in stride, as new members on a forum.
