Well, my mom goes to an ecumenical (sp?) theology school down in Detroit and she usually drives the prizm. But, last night while it was parked, it got broken into. The guy used a sledgehammer to smash the driver's side window in a smash-n-grab only to take a...........(drumroll).......Dollar-store sunvisor! He didn't bother with the stray cash or even to steal the car itself! What's also funny is he left his sledgehammer behind that's worth more than the sun visor that he took!
And, apparently, this has been the first breakin to happen at the school in over 5 years.
So now we have a clear plastic bag in place of the window right now (but oooooh, the story alone is so worth it!)
Edit: I would post pics, but its not really anything remarkable, just a funny story.

Theives suck. Especially car theives. Especially those who end up losing money on the break in. (Sledgehammer > sun visor)

Um, really, most likely the sledgehammer was stolen, too. :/

Probably, but why leave it behind? And for gods sake WHY NOT TAKE THE STRAY CASH?

Maybe he was an honest citizen who just couldn't stand the sun anymore?

He must've felt guilty and decided to stop mid way. Or he could've seen something threatening, and left in a hurry. I'm sure you'd be suspicious of a guy carrying a sledghammer in the middle of night.

You're never going to get the broken glass out of that car.

True. The rear window of my truck got shot out several years ago and I'm still finding bits of it in the cab.
