I have somthing on ebay and someone is asking if I will ship to Canada. They live in British Columbia and its a pretty small item, 2 boxes each about 1x5x10, total package weight of about 1lb. How much of a pain in the ass is it to ship to Canada? I prefer to use either USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

There are no issues for you. Check what the cost is and let them know. They will have to pay duties and tax but that's their problem.

if you send it as a "gift" there is no problem...and your clients will not have to pay duty.

also be very concise about what si in the box...if what you say is in the box coincides with the X-ray enough, they wont rip it open...which is assuming that canadian customs cares, ehich from my experience...they don't.

I ship to Canada all the time. UPS.com has all the papers you need to fill out (i only do the shipping invoices... hasn't been stopped yet.)

From what i've been told shipping international with the USPS is much easier than any other carrier. I know with FedEx that there is a shitloadmegaton of paperwork you have to do. And if you don't put that it's a gift they own the receiver hardcore with taxes. It's BS really
