Full Version: What is the last car you will ever own?

So an interesting thought came to mind today.

Lets say you have the option of getting any new car on the market today for your region. Now what would be the absolute last choice on the list? What is the one car that you would get absolutely last? Bottom of the barrel type of deal.

Mine is a tossup between the Mercedes C230 or the VW Jetta TDI.

The Mercedes is the ultimate representation of generic, bland, and overpriced. While the Jetta leans more on boring less, on overpriced.

Well, it'd be easy to just say something like the Mitsubishi Lancer and get it over with...

In fact, I think I will. I cannot tolerate the basic 2.0 liter Mitsubishi Lancer. But there are many many other cars that I dislike almost as much...
goota
man this is fuckin hard to think of...

the Subaru Baja has got to be one of the ugliest pieces of shit ever.

but there are plenty of cars i hate just as much. but i will just say the Baja for right now.

I'd take the hummer, at least it has resale value.

Any GM minivan. A minivan is the last vehicle I would buy and GM builds the worst combination of power, styling and features in that segment.

Pontiac Montana SV6

we have a montana, probbly around '00 model year and its been great. lots of space, not much maintenance, my mom is in love with it. dunno what the SV6 model is like, but the regular old montana seems to be a good van as far as my experience with it.

The SV6 is the new Montana that shares its...well, everything, with the Saturn Relay and Chevy Uplander.
PBB
The older Montanas were pretty decent, but recently all GM's minivan lineup has gone to hell compared to the competition.

Anything chinese made but i don't think they're for sale here yet, otherwise i'd pick something like the Landwind in a second for the bottom of my list. Heck i'd rather learn to become a marathon runner than drive one of those things!

Australian though, i'd pick a Ssangyong, ugliest motherfuckers i've ever seen

The Ferrari F50 would be the absolute last car I would ever own.

Before y'all go flaming, no 18 year old deserves a Ferrari, and it would take me all of a couple of hours to somehow total the car out and take my life in the process. Hence why it would be my last car.

Leif, it's the last car HE would ever own. Not you. I could tell you the same thing about the Crossfire, I think it's stylish and decent fun to drive...what's wrong with that?
Mr b00st

No offence...but you would have to be suffering from brain dammage before you bought one.

The point is, it's personal preference. I actually like the Crossfire, which you don't like. You like the Yaris, which Forrest doesn't like...that was all. I'm not going to bother arguing why I think the Crossfire is a good car, because it's just my opinion.
leif
Moe...I respect your oppininon...but I'm still gonna challenge it.
Mitlov
Ford Crown Victoria. It's huge, it lacks a manual transmission, it's huge, it tends to blow up when rear-ended, it's huge, I generally dislike Fords, and did I mention it's huge?

Leif, 99% of car preference is totally subjective, and eventually you're going to have to realize that there's nothing wrong with people who happen to disagree with you.
leif
I realize that...eventually your gonna have to realize that im joking 99.9% of the time.
