Aston DB9 gets new sports spec
We've always thought the Aston Martin DB9 was a bit of a slouch, so it's just as well there's now a factory Sports Pack on offer.
There are three major changes that make up the Sports Pack; the most obvious being the new five-spoke alloy wheels.
These wheels save more than 1kg per corner, helped by titanium wheel nuts, which reduces unsprung weight to improve grip, steering response and ride quality.
Backing up the lighter wheels, the front and rear suspensions' springs have been stiffened and also reduce the ride height by 6mm.
Underneath, the standard composite material undertray is replaced with an aluminium item, which increases structural rigidity.
The Sports Pack goes on sale in July and prices will be announced nearer its launch.
