everyonce in a while, the NJ state police do it on the well-traveled RT78, 99% on the eastbound side. they dont go across it, but usually do 2 of the 4 lanes, so if you pass them, you are speeding .. what dicks

Well see, it's not illegal what they're doing. They're doing the speed limit which is 55 and perfectly legal. Their point is that speed limit is worthless because nobody does 55 on 285 here. I always do around 80mph on 285 and I still have people flying by me.

Meh whatever, the fact is the speed limit on 285 is way too low. Nobody obeys it. They were traveling the speed limit which is legal and if people were passing them, that makes them speeding. Thats kind of the point that the speed limit is way too fucking low not that it matters much cause nobody even obeys it. So whats the point?

Any major city has stupidly low speed limits. Indy has 55 all the way around, it even dips down to 50 towards the center if you're taking 65 straight through.

The outerbelts and major highways here are all 65mph. Up in michigan its 70-75mph.
