Have you guys played this Toca Racer 3 game?
Looks wicked =) haven't had the chance to play it yet. I am trying to grab the Pc version. Reviews above if anyone is interested.

I've been playing for the past week...make sure you use the in-car view when racing. It makes the game a whole lot more fun. The outside view makes it insanely boring.

i am looking forward to the game, i shall have the game by this weeknd.
Can't wait to play a decent Driving game on my com. Also yea when GT5 comes i hope they include the Italian sports cars etc.

I enjoyed Toca Race Driver 2 but I think the overdiversification of available things to drive in this game detracts from it overall, much how I feel that incorporating track racing AND drifting AND rallying into Gran Tourismo detracts from that...personally, I just like something that's more focused on one or two things (like Forza, GTR, NFSV, Mobil 1 etc.) is more enjoyable for me in the end. But that's just personal preference.

where is the drifting in gran turismo? sure they have drift cars, but there are no drift events...

Doesn't GT4 have something to do with drift licensing and tests and stuff?

Not that I know if, But point being that I absolutely HATED Toca. I hated it so much I returned it to Videotron about an hour and a bit after renting it.

I'm in possesion of it but I'm currently playing through Colin Mcrae 2005. Racing games on the computer are actually worth playing with a steering wheel!

CMR05 with a wheel is a blast! i have a logitech momo force and i played all the way through the career mode. the later rallies can get a bit tedious, but i never stopped having fun in the career mode. nothing beats the rush of driving an audi S1 using in-car view through some of the tighter twisty stages like spain.

I have this game, and its worth the trouble. It has a bit of both in terms of realism. Pro sim if you want a more real experience, and sim if you feel like going for a more arcade-ish experience.

Worth a try, cool cars, great tracks.


And its also pretty fun on-line, which works with less legal versions of the game, but you didn't hear that from me.

I thought 05 sucked with the wheel. I have the same one and I didn't get any real force feedback, just stupid vibrations which felt entirely unrealistic and were annoying.

eh the FF wasn't spectacular, but the game still had a great sensation of speed, i liked the pacenotes and it was just fun to play.

I have it for xbox. It's fun but I about shit myself inside out when I found out that you can drive the ariel atom.

But, fuck codemasters. I hate them. You have to pay for cheat codes and you have to send your information to honda if you want to drive the ariel atom.

the physics of TOCA is so bad that i won't try the demo even the pic looks good

Live for Speed is still the best simulator nowadays, then Enthusia.......but both games don't have good looking cars......
