Awsome 240 Videos... really this car is crazy

when you said 240, i thought you meant nissan 240sx, when i clicked the link and see it went to turbobricks i decided right then that i will close that window.

its a volvo 240 with a T16 in it... it makes about 450 horses and over 500 ft-lbs of torque. its an absolutley nutty car.
it beats some big bad muscle car in a drag race. then there is an in car video where you can see his aftermarket tach with shift light. the car really is berzerk.

That's f---ing hilarious (in a good way). Talk about the ultimate sleeper car.

i LOVE it how people do up volvos to insanely fast sleepers. I remember seeing a video once (didn't save it :S) and it was like an old V70 (I think) and the camera car was running along beside it at like 50-60km/h and the volvo flattens it, and his wheels start smoking, and it's still smokeing as it's like 100m off into the distance. It's insane.

pretty damn fast little volvo. not insanely fast, but very fast for what it is. looks like low 11 second ride

yeah the motors arent good for much more than about 11 sec. the ones that you see running lower than that usually have the 5.0 engine swap. but this is about the highest specimen of a Volvo engine aside from FWD applications.
