20 stunning Ferrari concept models have been unveiled as part of Ferrari’s ‘concepts of the myth’ competition. The 1:4 scale models have been produced by students of four of the world’s most prestigious automotive design schools.
They are currently being exhibited at the Galleria Ferrari in Maranello prior to their final judging. The contest has been organised in partnership with Pininfarina and Alcoa – the company that produces aluminium spaceframes for Ferrari.
The results are truly extraordinary, the 20 models representing a wide range of dramatic reinterpretations of classic and modern mid- and front-engined V8 and V12 Ferrari models. Each one exhibits obvious Ferrari styling cues while also looking to a future design direction for the marque. Voting for the four winners will be undertaken by a technical board of jurors from the Ferrari Style Committee it including Luca di Montezemolo, Piero Ferrari, Jean Todt, Amedeo Felisa e Massimo Fumarola along with senior management of Pininfarina – Senator Sergio Pininfarinia, Andrea Pininfarina and Ken Okuyama.

We think they’re all sensational; Ferrari’s design future would undoubtedly be in safe hands with any of the 20 finalists. The judging committee will choose just four winners though, the lucky four getting the opportunity of work experience at Ferrari or Pininfarina as their prize. For a budding car designer surely there’s no greater prize? However, here at MSN Cars we’re keen to see which is your favourite. Use our voting tool on this and the next three pages and we’ll see if you agree with the judges when the results are announced. Please note also that on this feature as a trial, the bigger pictures - that appear when you click on the on-page photos - have got a bit bigge
