So I'm sitting in the parking lot of the bowling ally about to leave with Amanda and these Mexicans get in the car next to me. Nothing unusual until the guy getting in the back seat swings his door wide open and hits my car. I look and he closes his door and when he does, it makes a scraping noise...

Pissed off, I drive forward a little bit as everyone in the car (6 people at least) look at me. I get out and look at my front passenger fender to see a scratch and dent about the size of a quarter. Really pissed off, I approch their car and start cursing them out. Everyone was fucking apologizing, I wasn't sure what i was suppose to do. A few choice words to them I finally said fuck it and left. I was thinking i should probably get their information but I knew it'd be pointless as somebody could just as easily give me a fake number, etc. That and I didnt feel like pissing off a car full of probably drunk mexicans and getting my head kicked in.

But I'm just very pissed off.. Seems impossible for me to have anything nice without somebody fucking it up for me. I havnt even made the first payment on my car and I already have a nice dent from a fuckwad who doesn't give a shit about others posessions. If I had parked so closely to their car that they needed a can opener to get in, I'd understand. But no, they had plenty of room and this asshole just swung his door wide open. God dammit :\

I'm uber careful not to scratch another car in the parking lot , even if it's a piece of crap . But some people just slam those doors into other cars like there was no tomorrow .

I tend to park my S4 in 2 spots near the back of the lot. People don't seem to care as much and less people park there. Unless i'm going to Chinatown at night, that area is notorious in Montreal of having your car stolen, then I park as close as I can to the entrance. At my office I just park diagonally I own the building so why not, plus the other 2 tenants who rent from me only have a few employees

yeah i quite often see nice cars parked in 2 spaces. infact theres a civic type R that does it everyday at work

I always park as far away as possible. I usually park by the curbing of the last spot as far over as possible from the adjacent spot.

My friends think I'm anal but I think it's worth it in the long-run.

the only place i cant park as far away as possible from humanity is at the University, I came out the other day, and this white kid with an afro is getting out of a Golf, parked literaly 6 inches from my Subaru (he was parked on my passenger side). He had his door opened and resting on the bump stop of my door while he squeezed out.

I looked at him and asked him straight out "what the fuck do you think your doing...do you have no respect for other peoples things..."

he said "im so sorry...uh uh...im really sorry"

I said "why the fuck do you think its ok to park like this...if i didnt have bump stops you would have dented my fucking car...never park like this again...got it!?!"

he mumbled something and ran off...i felt like kicking in his door...but i have to act nice...

My truck had a perfect body until various incidents at the highschool parking lot. Kids just don't understand some people take pride in their vehicles, and a scratch, chip, or dent, isn't "nothing".

OMG I totally know how you feel. When I was in New Orleans, I went to gamestop to pick up Midnight Club Dub Edition for PSP, and there was some old black guy in an UGLY ass busted up Wagoneer. Well, he decided to dump out his cooler and put some new ice in it, well, when he poured it out, there was still a can of soda in it. GRAPE SODA; So when he dumped it out the can bounces, hits the side of the Oddy, then hits the ground and exploded. Most of which was on the passenger side of my van. So THEN when he goes to leave, he opens his door, and totally smashes it into the front fender along where the wheel arch thing is, but luckily I have those ugly black protector things. I had fun driving back to the hotel with a purple splashed van. So when I get there the wind had spread out the soda on the side, and I guess helped dry it. SO I was scrubbing the side of it with shampoo (could not find liquid soap) for like 10 minutes. Damn bastard.

I do the same thing even though I've got that damage from the person/people who decided to pour popping oil all over my car, scrape off some paint, and give it a nice sized dent in the passenger fender. The 7 kind of looks like crap right now and I'm saving up to have it painted a different color (sick of white) but I'm still paranoid about people smashing their doors in to it.

Actually, just the other day I stopped at WalMart (I usually go at 2am, before my guard shift) and parked a fair ways away from anyone else and some stupid lady driving an Expedition who had no concept of how gigantic the nose is on that thing nudged my car. Why she decided to park so far away and right in front of me is beyond me but now the front nose cap kind of bends in at the middle and there's a few blue scrapes along side the right FTP light. I chewed her out for a while, in my uniform. Wonder how that looked...

I was showing Da Monster at a Boy Scout Pine Box Derby deal with other cars from the car club and one of the kids liked my car so much he apparantly wanted to give it a hug so he sprawls full out on the hood. I nearly shat myself and so did he from my rather loud exclamations of displeasure.
