I setup my old computer to run MythTV but to display it on my television it is off-center. It's cutting off enough of the bottom and right sides to be difficult to use. I'm using Fedora 4 and the video card is a GeForce3. Any idea how to center it? My TV has no setting for it.

i dunno linux =[
strange though no replies from anyone else?

Got it working. Required a program called nv-tv-out to configure the TV-out settings. Now if only I could figure out MythTV...

nismo speaks the truth...

Honestly, it takes too long to get anything to work under Linux and then when it does it doesn't work as good as the equivilant program under Windows. Kinda pointless really.

But it reqiures that you know something about computers. Making it elitist and cool.

windows works fine for me. i dont have a problem with microsoft, never have. they make good products, as far as i can see. they provide solutions for every computing task i do... microsoft has even supported some of my extended family. i dont feel any need to use linux.

I'm not out to prove anything. I just wanted to try it out for something that could be potentially useful and of minimal cash outlay by me. It's been a learning experience of which I've hated nearly every second.
