Technically we are a soverign nation, but we still allow the Queen of england to approve our laws...so all of our laws are under the Queen.
We have a representitive of the queen in the federal, as well as provincial governmants, who sign our bills into laws on her behalf...and that person is usualy a Canadian him/herself

I looked into it and I found that although it is now illegal in Ontario to toss a dwarf, it is still completely legal to toss off a dwarf.

Dosent that violate the charter of rights and fredoms? shouldnt a dwarf have a right to be tossed or not to be tossed as he/she sees fit?

and the reason reserved dont have to follow that is because they are federal property, governed by federal laws, and since there is only a provincial smoking ban...
Im sure they would let you live on a reserve if you really miss smoking in public that much

Actually never been a smoker. Occassionally I'll smoke some cigars at a poker game or at the bar, but going on the patio there is fine by me.
I just hate how our goverments take so many rights from us... Not so much this situation, but I dunno it's hard to sum up.

I think alot of the rights they take away from us has to do with them paying for our healthcare...if they didnt have a financial interest in our health, things would be alot different.
as for the smoking ban, im happy with it...franlky i think there should be a federal smoking ban...and with the BC courts saying its ok for the province to sue tobacco companies for losses due to treating smoke related illness...we may not be that far off
