yeh, my electricity flickered out last night .. i was on my mobile in the dark at like 0230 EST and i see blue flickers outside .. i see a haze of blue on the horizon and my power went out .. for like 30sec then went back on ..

nothing spectacular, just a bitch to reset all the clocks.

It's funny because my friend lives in New Orleans and i'm bitching at him about this while he's in a hotel in Western Louisiana trying to avoid dying.

GET IN LINE. I have had no power before due to hurricanes. Like last year for instance, I lost power for 4 days, then another hurricane came and knocked out power for 2 more days, then another hurricane came and destroyed our condo in Pensicola. So yeah, we are rebuilding the condo. XD

i lost power for 8 hours once, i think that is the record for around here

Wow, I remember the huge blackout a few years ago. New York and most of Ontario lost power for 3 days or so. I had resorted to Sears catalogues to get my "Fix".

three years ago .. it was a power "grid" failure .. i remember we were in CapeCod when that happened and someone was like "do you guys still have power back in NJ?!"

it was like a string from canada to the states ..

I remember how during the blackout all the news stations were like OMG OMG TERRORISM!

My friend in Louisiana only lost power for 8 hours.
