Canadian members have probably seen the racy Mott's Clamato TV commercials ... the ones "censored by the QCC."

Well, heres some informative reading for you:

I always had my suspicions about these ads.
Dylan
Uhh...link to the commercial?
Renesis
never seen the ad, but HOW LAME!
NorthPoint
Haven't clicked the link but the fact that the link has 'adsthatsuck' in the title is dead on.

Those ads are complete crap and some of the worst ads I have ever seen.

Look's like Mott's has pulled the offending content from it's site:

QCC, the Queue Communications Corporation, is an affiliate of the ad agency.
They have advised us not to discuss this matter further.

I wouldn't be surprised if they knew that their little scam would eventually be uncovered. In the meantime, the commercials generated a lot of web traffic on their site.

I thought that the article said that they never had any offending content, just the illusion that there was offending content. tard.gif

Well the content on the site was not really "offending content" in an explicit sense. What I meant was that the content related to the TV commercials was pulled from their website.

Amd you're right, the whole ad scheme was purely based on sexual innuendo.

hahah same thought went through my mind.

I found that it was completely obvious that it was just fake censorship. That was the whole point of the commercial. Crappy ads anyway.
Mr b00st
link to ads?

link to ads?

They've been removed from Mott's website.
Phix
Uh, somebody actually thought it was a REAL censorship? Wow, stupidheads.
Forrest
I thought anyone with a little intelligence realized that it was a joke.
PAULIE_D
I figured it was a hoax right from the get-go. Seemed like a way too convenient means to promote their product.
Hey - it worked... we're discussing it here, aren't we?

I was trying to read the small print at the bottom the screen during the commercial which explained what exactly QCC was but it was almost microscopic and illegible.

That in itself sent up a red flag for me.
