Yeah, just a few odd minutes ago I noticed something started making these wierd bubbly liquidy noises. At first I was pretty freaked out but after it kept making the noise again and again I realized it was coming from my mouse. It's a wireless optical and it just started happening now. It sounds like bubbles are forming and something maybe is seeping out. I checked the batteries and they're fine, no awkward smell so i'm stumped.

the only plausible explaination is there is a short circuit and its melting some of the plastics

i think that that would be the most likely thing that would've happend .. PD.. lick it .. what does it taste like? acid? if so, see a dentist cos its prolly not to good for your teeth.

this is most likely. I can't see any reason for there to be liquid inside the mouse

. throw it away and buy a new one.

Yea, sometimes you have to change your optical mouse fluid. They sell it at CompUSA.

I saw this earlier today and while driving to work a thought occurred to me. What about a leaking capacitor?
It it were me I'd shitcan it and get a new one.
