Ok, so I didn't sight it. Therefore it's not really a sighting, but thought it was too cool not to share. Although the overall feel is mini-Lexus (new IS), I see a hint of Acura in the side, and Mazda 6 up front.

Yeah, heh, the front end is very, very Mazdaish but the headlight cluster is also thinner giving it a kind of TL/TSX (whichever they are) touch to it.

From the back, you can tell that the camry has an avalon ass end. It's not bad, but I want to know what they are putting under the hood.

that top view of the hood reminds me of the PT cruiser
but aside from that, i think it looks pretty good.

The whole design reminds me of the new Lexus models.
Oh wait, Toyota and Lexus are the same company. That might explain Toyota's new styling influences.

yeah front looks like the 6, back like the new Lexuses (Lexi?). but the flanks look like the new Sonata.

Toyota can't do anything on their own in their infinite financial and engineering capacity.

A daring design would scare teh moms and dads from the Camry. Tho the kids would love it on the weekends. .........man, if I ever found myself purchasing a Camry, then I know the end is nigh, I would be doomed to suburban mediocrity.

I think it looks muuuuch better than the current one. I hate the current one... it looks really sloppy, especially the front...
This one is much nicer... though I think putting the emblem on the grill would look better... I think from the side, the front of the car still looks a lot like the current Camry... but the side doors and door handles and stuff really do resemble the TL. W/e... it's a shame that such car companies don't go for defining looks, like Audi, Bmw, etc... even if the car is in a lower price segment, it doesnt mean that it needs to be so standard.

Does the IS look like a Camry or a Camry like an IS? Either one is horrible.

So the IS looks bland enough that it can be mistaken for a Camry?

So very, very boring.
As much as I admire Toyota for offering quality products, I wish so many of their models weren't so boring to look at.
