It's a Sony Vaio FS640. It has a 15.4 inch Widescreen LCD, 512mb ram, 80 gig hard drive, and a DVD+R/W Double layer drive. It weighs something like 6.3 pounds. I really like it. The only thing is with the widescreen, it makes it kinda big, so it's hard to use it as a "lap" top. The thing makes absolutely no sound what-so-ever. It's a very quiet machine. It also has wireless internet (like all new ones). My dad bought it for a work computer so it can sit on his toolbox. He needs it for diagnostics and other crap like that. I think that was just an excuse to go get a laptop, but whatever.

You should have gotten a powermac. With the current deal you get the ipod mini free or $167 off any higher capacity ipod. Plus the new ipod kicks ass !!!

Oh I could run it. I can run anything on a mac. Well that is until my HD crashed.

by the way ... make sure you get the extended warranty on the VAIO ... EVERY SINGLE ONE that my friends bought has crashed within the first year.
