So basically, I spent the day with Amanda. After going out to eat, she gets the idea to just go downtown and chill. I have no problem with that, but it didn't go so well. Being that we're both nice people, a homeless guy asks for a few bucks. She ran in this place to take a pee and I'm standing outside talking to him, real cool guy so I help him out on the fact that I thought he was pretty cool.

Walking down the street a bit, another guy approaches us. He promises "I don't want any money or anything", so I say "okay...". He ends up following us telling us stuff about the city. No problem really, didn't seem very threatning and he was telling me about places and stuff that I didn't know about. Finally we end up in this kinda shady area around GSU (Georgia Southern University) and he starts demanding I give him some money for telling us about everything, etc.

I tell him "Nobody asked you for anything". He starts getting mad and starts threatning me with "You're going to give me some money or you're going to have a very bad night". We get into a cuss fight, I tell him "Even if I had all the fucking money in the world I wouldnt give you shit for being such a dick". He asks me "You know how to fight? I'm going to fuck you up" and he starts digging around in his pocket for something, I dunno maybe a knife?

Amanda is standing there scared to death and the guy starts looking for something on the ground to use against me. Seeing that as an opportunity, I tell her that we need to run and get the fuck out of there. We take off and her cellphone falls out of her purse. She's yelling at me to leave it but I run back and grab it anyways and we keep running up the street. Finally at a stopping point, I use her phone to call the police not even realizing I'm standing right beside a police station. I get a cop and we find the guy. The cop asking me about the entire story, I tell him everything that happened.

The cop asks me if I wanna press charges. I find out if I do press charges I'll have to go downtown again to goto court and all this other shit. Luckily for that stupid fucking bum, I decided against pressing charges because the last thing I wanna do is goto that city again.

I can honestly say though, I have never been so scared in my life. I had no idea what that guys intentions was I was just scared he was going to try to hurt me or Amanda. Mostly I was concerned for her safety being a girl he'd try raping her and all this other shit probably. Also feel bad having her in that unsafe situation but I'm so glad we both got out of it without any harm.

Funny thing is after all was done, she told me she completely forgot she had pepper spray in her purse...wow

The whole time around this guy, I had my hand on my new best friend, this bitchin sharp ass knife I found at work. With a press of the finger the blade pops out instantly, I was ready to use it if i had to. Glad that I didn't! Now I know what happens when you're nice to strangers. I hope that stupid worthless fuck gets hit by a bus.

you should see the knives i have. one 5 inch Winchester hunting knife, and a 12 inch Kabar USMC fighting knife. i also have a pocket folding knife, its a Kershaw, and i have one of those carpeting knives that are hooked at the end... too young to have a gun, so i have knives. i am going to carry a stick in my car too. its an axe handle, and its sweet.

it is a very depressing looking city, and crime is really a problem if you are in the wrong place. Downtown aint all that terrible in my experiences.

Dude, it isn't that all of Atlanta sucks...it is just that you went to actual Atlanta . Between the homeless guys, the nut jobs, and the drug dealers, I hate going to that area around Five Points/GSU/Sweet Auburn/West End. You could of had a nice romantic dinner in Midtown or Virginia Highlands...even Buckhead has more then just clubs.

Lesson for today: don't go to downtown Atlanta or else a rapid transit hobo could give you a guided tour of the city.
